Once again, I broke the handle of my lawn mower. I guess I must be too hard on the thing. It has been welded 3 times already. So yesterday I had to stop mowing the lawn right in the middle of it. I hate that. But thank goodness Kurt's dad welded it back together today so I could finish mowing right as the raindrops started coming down. At least I have some sense of accomplishment today after taking a couple naps to try to get rid of my sinus headache. Argh.
Tomorrow I am looking forward to a trip to Pipestone with Kris. Should be a good day.
"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24

scraped knuckles
I spent this afternoon scrubbing 30 year old wallpaper paste off the kitchen walls to prepare for painting. This better be worth it. My knuckles hurt really bad. Scraping them on the texture of the walls didn't help. After 9 years I am finally making this house feel a little more like home. Maybe if I get it the way I want it, we will find a place of our own. That would be about right.

Congestion...
Okay, so I caught Bennett's cold. This is miserable. Sinus pressure, sore throat, you get the point. Drugs please.
If the sun would just shine once, I am sure my poor attitude would melt away. This is frustrating. We finally got the rain we have been praying for, and now it just won't warm up. Grrrr.
