"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24

Where has the time gone?
Here it is, the 21st of September already. I have been neglecting to blog for awhile. First off, our baby arrived August 19th. We named her Brooklyn Rose. She is beautiful! She was 5 days overdue but worth the wait. Bennett loves her and so do we. She is growing so fast. She is getting a little double chin. Harvest is just around the corner and every year I dread it. I don't like Kurt being gone so much. But it is nice when it is done. The trees are changing color all around and it just shows how powerful and amazing God is. The small reminders of his grace every day keep me thankful. He has blessed our family beyond measure.

Tick Tick Tick
Time is going fast this summer. Already it is the 26th of July. Only 2.5 weeks until the due date! I am excited to see who this baby looks like. I hope I at least get a little credit on this one. Bennett supposedly looks just like Kurt. I claim the end of his nose is from me. LOL. Summer has gone too fast this year... perhaps because of no rain. I haven't mowed much at all. My sweet corn was pulled out and fed to the cattle since it was only 1 foot tall and tassling. Very disappointing for a pregnant lady who has a craving for some sweet corn. Rosco seems to be settling down a bit this summer also which is great. Perhaps he is done chewing pieces off my garden hose too. Bennett enjoys playing with him and his toys. The heat is supposed to be subsiding soon and I hear there is a chance of rain this week. Awesome.

Sum Sum Summertime
So here it is July already. Where does the time go? Our annual Van N camping outing is done already and the Fourth of July is rearing it's head. My 10 year class reunion is this summer. Hard to believe it is here already. Before I know it, this baby will be born too. Only 6 weeks 'til that. My garden is dying slowly before my eyes. We desperately need rain soon. I really want that sweet corn so it has to rain! I may just have to buy some from a stand somewhere. YUM! We have been keeping busy doing things with friends and family. I do enjoy the warm days even though I am pregnant... the sun is always welcome to me!
