my how the time does fly

Today we are having a birthday party for Bennett and Brooklyn. 5 and 2. How can it be? I don't remember the days flying by! It reminds me to cherish every moment I have with my little angels. Bennett is 4 feet tall already. I have a feeling he may be a tall man someday. Brooklyn is speaking way too much for her age. She can sing very well also. Both B1 and B2 love to sing. We gave B1 drumsticks as part of his gift. He loves them. I hope the party goes well. It should be a nice day for a shindig.

Smelly

Kurt decided to burn a pile of old cornstalk bales last night. That was when the wind was blowing away from the house. Today it has switched to blowing at the house. Needless to say, it stinks. The shirts I hung out on the line are going to smell so nice. But it is a beautiful day, regardless of the stench. I am going to go enjoy the outdoors.

How sweet it is...

Sweet corn, that is! We enjoyed the first ears for supper tonight. Makes all the weeding worthwhile!
