"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24

Blink
Well here it is the Friday before July 4th. Where has the time gone? To use a quote from the movie Meet Joe Black, "The years, don't they go by in a blink?" It amazes me to think that I am married and a mom. I never thought that day would come. When we are young, time seems so slow and yet as we age, we want it to slow down. It would be sublime if we had the option to freeze time. Hey that rhymes. Hah hah. But for now, I'll try to live each day as if it were my last. That's how I want to be remembered when I'm gone.

Rosco
Well we finally got our puppy Rosco. He loves it at our house I think. He is always happy and playful. He eats great too. The collar I bought for him last week is too big for him right now so we need to get a small halter one for him. That should work. He is so cute. He is brownish and grayish with the markings of an Alaskan Husky on his face. Totally adorable. It is nice to have a puppy again. He is so curious and loves to run around and jump and play. Bennett is not so fond of the jumping. We will work on teaching him to stay down. Rosco that is.

Our Own Little World
Most of us have our own little world that we live in. A world where no one can hear our innermost thoughts and we are secluded. However, if we only existed in that world, we would have no friends. I think that is what is causing all the problems today. People are too caught up in their own worlds without realizing that there are other people in the real world. We treat each other like dirt, to put it nicely. Common courtesy has gone out the window. We act as if no one else has feelings. All that matters is ME, ME, ME! Take a moment to think about how you would feel if someone treated you the way you are treating others. If we only would stop and look at each other as human beings, we could change the world. Patience and understanding, people. That's what I'm talking about.
