Why Not

It occurred to me this morning while I was sitting in church that I don't give enough of myself to serving God. After all, He gave His life for me. I should offer more of my time for church activities. I would love to sing more in church and use the gifts God has given to me for His glory.

Ahhhh. Vacation in Maryland. Wonderful times and location. We are right on the beach and enjoying the short walk to the sand. Bennett can't get enough of the beach and ocean. Although it is too cold to swim. No matter to him. We waded in the ocean looking for shells a couple times. Ice cold at first, but your legs go numb after a bit. I found a big whelk shell which was awesome. Walking the beach makes you just slow down and breathe in the air and realize that life doesn't have to be so fast and complicated, we just make it that way. We need to rest in God's care and take it day by day. That is my prayer as we make our way home. We leave on Friday and are going to take a few days to get home so we are not so tired when we get there. Hopefully we will find a hotel with a swimming pool for Bennett to enjoy.

what happened?

Okay. Spring has officially gone MIA. I don't understand why it can't just warm up outside. This is so frustrating. but I guess we choose to live here. Don't know why. Perhaps we are stuck in a rut.

Bennett and I have been spending a lot of time playing in the sandbox. He suddenly wants to be there all the time. Which is fine, but we have to lock up Rosco because he tries to sit in my lap if I sit down to play. So he doesn't really like that. It's his own fault.

We have 2 cats that are expecting kittens anytime soon. I hope they survive the temps. There is nothing cuter than a kitten. Especially when they play with each other. Awwww.

Kurt is getting things ready for planting. I am hoping he can get it done by the time we have to leave for Maryland. That would be wonderful. I am ready for a vacation already and spring just started.
