Coastal Rendezvous

Today we are heading out to the coast. Should be beautiful weather... mid to upper 70s. I am hoping for a little tan before we head back to the frozen tundra. The kids will love playing on the beach. The Westra family is going to be there also so hopefully our kids will play well together. They have been so nice to us... you can tell they are very Christian people.

I am sitting here in Katie's living room while Bennett watches Thomas the Train. We just bought it at the thrift store here. The sun is finally shining today! We are hoping to go to the park later this afternoon. The kids love running around after riding in a car for 3 days. They do get a bit dirty since the sand is wet. But everything is washable I guess. Tomorrow we are hoping to get into the apartment we are supposed to be able to use. That will be nice. Hopefully the kids will sleep better then. We'll see.

Goodies

Spent all day Wednesday making Christmas goodies. However, they will most likely be eaten by Christmas. I think next year we may have to wait until it is closer to Christmas before making them. I can resist but Kurt cannot. He has eaten half of the cookies already. It's no wonder people gain weight in the winter.
