Well today is just another day. Work and then Bible school tonight. I think it's the last night. It will be nice to get back into a routine soon. If you can consider life routine.
Tuesday we went to Granite Falls to the ethanol plant grand opening. It was neat to see but all the old, er, "elderly" people should I say, were pushing to get in the lines. Seriously, they think the world owes them everything. I was standing in line to get some mini donuts and this guy walked up and stood next to the cart and said "I'll take a bag of those when you get a chance." Obviously he felt he did not have to stand in the long line and could just butt in whenever he wanted. The girl gave him his donuts and apologized to me for it. I was like, "Not a problem. Completely understandable." I figured I wouldn't make a big deal out of it so she didn't feel bad. The old guy should have been apologizing. Not her. Then we stood on a freshly paved BLACK parking lot in 90 degree heat to hear the governor speak. He was good but not worth the sweating and burning of my feet. I went in the building to cool off. Smartest move of the day. We proceeded to get back on the bus to leave and were surrounded by people in the most hilarious clothes I have seen for a long time. There were free hats available and I believe most of the "elderly" people took around 5 or 6 of them. Because apparently one hat just isn't enough for one head. Anyhow, we made it home in one piece.
