Our home has become plagued with shouting lately. Parents and children alike. I decided the other day to teach my 4 year old this proverb. Little did I know he would turn around and use it against me. This evening after a bout of yelling at him, he said, "Mom, remember what you taught me on the computer?" How humbling. Out of the mouths of babes...

I think parenting in general has to be one of the most humbling journeys and experiences of my life. Every day I'm reminded of my faults and shortcomings.
