"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24

A New Fascination
I have decided I enjoy watching birds. Every day I stand by my kitchen window and hope to see a new kind of bird at my feeders. Today I saw an indigo bunting which I have never seen here before. Last year I had rose-breasted grosbeaks and I hope they return this year. They are so beautiful. Orioles are abundant again this spring also. Their song is lovely. I enjoy just listening to all the birds when I am outside. I do believe my hammock will get quite a bit of use this summer.

We are becoming avid bird watchers as well. Every morning we sit at the breakfast table just wondering what color/species of bird will show up next. We had Harris sparrows for a few weeks, and they are cool! We also have an indigo bunting hanging out lately.
Yes we have the Harris sparrows a lot here also. Chipping sparrows and white crowned ones are here a lot too. It is amazing how many varieties of sparrow there are.
