Life is good.

Lately I have this feeling of complete contentment. For some reason, I just can't imagine life getting any better than this. I have my family, friends, and my Savior Jesus Christ. What more could I want? I have the promise of heaven and eternal life someday. Life is grand.

It's sad to see the weather changing to cold. The leaves are all off the trees now and that means winter is rearing it's ugly head. But after winter comes spring, and I love spring! The smells of snow melting, seeing new buds on the trees just makes me glad to be alive. That is also the time I get to plant flowers! Yeah for me! Winter isn't so bad though. It brings holidays and good food and good times with family. I pray that everyone will have good travel this season.

I saw a great movie the other night. It is called "The Lake House". You should all check it out. Life goes by too fast.

Aw man. The Twins just lost their first playoff game today. Bummer. I have faith that they will recover though. Tomorrow is another day.

Fall is here and causing some allergy issues with my head. But I love the smell of harvest and dead plants. Weird I know. Plus the colors of the trees are awesome! Maple trees have got to be the most beautiful fall trees with their reds and oranges.

Harvest has officially begun. Kurt combined yesterday down in the valley. Bennett got to ride in the combine with daddy and loved it. Yields are looking good for us. It would be great if the weather would cooperate so Kurt can get the combining done on time.

Last week Thursday our women's vb league started again. Man was I out of shape for that. I had rubber legs or so it felt. Hopefully this week I can have a little more stamina and strength. I'll have to actually eat before we play this time. Last week I was rushed so I didn't eat much. Not good. FOOD=ENERGY.
